About Us

Droitwich Wellbeing Hub is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) providing a local base in the Droitwich community to children, young people and adults.

Our Mission Statement supports the vision that everyone has the right to access support for their wellbeing and mental health within their local community.  And that barriers including money, race, disability, gender, and ethnicity should be removed to ensure a fair and accessible service to all members of the local community.

Much research supports the claim that if such a service is offered within a local community that potential clients are more likely to want to engage in the service and that there is a higher chance of more positive outcomes at the end of their support.

The rooms in our hub offer a safe and comfortable space for adults, young people and children.

By the end of 2022, we aim to have an additional two rooms creating more dedicated space for our services.

How We Can Help You

Our Counselling Service – Resilient Minds Counselling – provides one to one counselling sessions to children, young people, and adults in a safe and welcoming environment.

We have a team of qualified counsellors and counsellors in training who have a broad range of life experiences and skills. All our counsellors work within the ethical guidelines of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy www.bacp.co.uk and hold enhanced DBS checks to ensure that the service that is provided is both safe and ethical.

What is Counselling?

We will all have times where life can feel overwhelming and things get on top of us, and these challenging times are unique to each person. Whatever the cause it can be helpful to have a safe and confidential space to talk to someone who is able to listen without judgement to allow you the time to make sense of your current situation.

Resilient Minds Counselling have a team of counsellors with varied backgrounds and experience and offer counselling using different approaches, counselling styles such as Person Centred and CBT based therapies, supported by a wide range of resources.

We support a variety of presenting issues which include:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Loss and Bereavement

  • Loneliness and Isolation

  • Abuse

  • Relationship Issues

  • Stress, confusion, and despair

Our Counselling Service is private and confidential, and we respect your privacy by ensuring that your personal details are only used to enable us to provide you with the service you need.

How You Can Help Us

As a not for profit Community Interest Company, we rely completely on funding and voluntary donations in order to continue to provide our services.

If you are coming to Droitwich Wellbeing Hub for support you will be asked if you are able to make a donation. No matter how big or small every penny we receive ensures that when you have finished your support with us we can continue to welcome someone else in need of our help.

We believe, that as a community, if we can all come together and contribute something the much needed wellbeing services we are providing will be here for the whole of Droitwich for years to come.

If you live or work in Droitwich and think your organisation, or you as an individual, are able to support us either by making a contribution, offering a service or support, or becoming involved in some other way we would love to hear from you.
